Graveyard terraining...

Add some peasant graves, random normal graves, set up some ashenwale/northrend/both tree, apply blight, add some rough/normal dirt so it doesnt look too simple, noise the terrain little and create a region with heavy dungeon white fog..

That should create a basic scary look

Edit: I typed all this before you posted the image, but well fog is a must? And remember it looks much scarier with limited vision, thus you could add some Line of Sight blockers.. You could also read the swamps tutorial, you can find some cool stuff in it..

And I would also say add more graves...

Another Edit: Are you really gonna have a graveyard in a middle of a city, or are you going to do something about it later?

Rougher terrain. Go over it some with the raise tool, make it a little less flat. Make the sky color a little darker, and add a sky box. Add some green clouds to make it look like some stuff is growing there. The surrounding terrain is important too! Part of the scare of a good graveyard is that all the happiness just... Stops. So, add some grassy terrain around the outside.

@Whisky: Well, I put the Dungeon Green Fog Heavy... Guess it can't really be seen. Maybe I should apply more kinds of fog too?

@Sessional: What's a sky box??? Also, it's in a city so adding grass around it will be hard but I'll try...

If you want uneven terrain I suggest:
1) Get the noise tool
2) Spray it around a bit
3) Get the smooth tool
4) Spray that around a bit
5) GOTO step 1 :p

Well I already suggested the noise tool..

But seriously, having a graveyard in the middle of city makes it look bizarre and not scary at all, at least if it's a small one like that..

Try moving it a bit off the city, it would make it look more realistic anyway. Think about the people living in the city; Who would want a scary graveyard next to the marketplace?

Edit: And music is the ultimate moodmaker. Add some ambient sound that's sad or scary, like the DarkAgents, Comradeship or Undead2..

Fun fact: I've been to a few graveyards....and they're not at all scary. Quite orderly in fact. But that's besides the point lol. :p

Well it's not in the middle of the city its a bit to the side but its surrounded by buildings. Some of those buildings are broken and burnt down. It's also the only place where I can put my graveyard so I have to make sure it looks really scary to offset the fact it's in a city.

Heavy or light white fog(one weather effect is enough), some random height, limited vision, couple of peasant graves, and music, that's all I can suggest now

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
