I am trying to make an ability for the hero. Its like the mechanical critter from the shop of humans. Instead, the abiltiy ''mind controls'' the critter. The possesed critter is controlable by the player but appears neutral and share view.

What spell do I have to base from to do this?

Note: I don't like using JASS.

make a spell that uses a target system, then trigger it, make it give control of the the target to the owner of the attacker but retain it's color. Also in the object editor, set the appears on mini map to false.

Would Unit - Change color of (Unit) to (Color of Neutral Passive) work?

Edit: Too late + do as above post :p

I put this as trigger:

Unit - A unit Finishes casting an ability
(Ability being cast) Equal to Nature's Link
Unit - Change color of (Target unit of ability being cast) to (Color of Neutral Passive)

but it still appears as my unit to enemy. I tested it whit triggered units:

Time - Elapsed game time is 5.00 seconds
Unit Group - Order (Units in Region 000 <gen>) to Attack-Move To (Center of Region 001 <gen>)

and the units that I ''possesed'' was between the two regions and when the unit arrived next to my ''possesed'' units, they attacked it.

What am I doing wrong?

Also, where is the ''appear in minimap'' in the object editor.

No matter what an enemy unit or a neutral hostile unit will attack yours, unless you make it invoulnrable or invisable. the hide mini map icon is in the unit editor under the stats section I belive.
