Hero Buildings not gaining XP

I'm making a TD where your first tower is a hero, I would like this hero to be able to get stronger if your doing better. The problem is, that the hero is not gaining any experience. I want Player 12 (Brown) unit kills to give this unit experience, is there some way to work this?

i'm not sure what you mean, but in gameplay constants you can turn on that you want that to kill buildings granting xp

Sorry, bad explanation. My hero building is killing the unit waves that are going down the way points. What I'm having problems with is the units are NOT giving experience to the hero tower. The base unit of the creep waves is an acolyte, and the base unit of the hero is a priestess of the moon.

uhmmm no idea, have never tried to have an hero building, but you could try to go to gameplay constants and chech hero xp, with creeps

Is your building just a tower with the model file of a hero? Or is it a hero with the value "Is a building" set to true?

I think u should start to create This Tower starting from a ranged Hero and than changing "model file" (as a Tower)......If u want to make a trigger for gaining XPu should write:

-Action-
units owned by player 12 Brown is attacked

-Condition-
If attacking unit equal to (HeroTower) and attacked unit is dead

-Action-
Set Xp of HeroTower to current XP of HeroTower + (number of XP that u want your hero take from a mob kill)

Anyway....If your Hero is not a Hero but Is a Building, it will never take XP.
If your Hero can lvlup more than lvl 10 u have to set "Gameplay Constants"\Xp Gained
you will see some numbers 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0
U have to delete "0" integer (no XP for Hero)

It's a hero with the Is a Building set to true. I've got it figured out, you can NOT select it with a hero condition, because technically, it is no longer a hero, it becomes a building. Just had to swap my condition types around.

I dont think u can create a Hero that gains XP since you don't set "Is a building" to false
Did it works??
