Hero-Tower

Good evening =D

For my TD I have a special ''Hero Tower'' that is based on a hero (Fire Lord).
Now, the problem is that I can't set a ground texture on him.
So he can sit anywhere, even at the walking path, wich he aint supose to!
I also got a area I dont want anyone to be able to build anything at, but you still can build him there =/ Even tho It's unbuildable ground.

I whonder how I can do so he can't be built at the unbuildable ground?

I realy have no clue if this matters, but the ground is ''Large Bricks'', It's in the Sunken Ruins tilset.

Scroll down til you find "Pathing Map"... That should fix the problem, oh, and make sure your "unit/tower" is a buildings..Just see if it is in the folder/category "buildings" or scroll down til you find "is abuildings - false/true".. should be true

Unbuildable ground is on the unit in the object editor too... if you are sure you got the terrain type "not buildable", click the towers, scroll down til you find "Placement requires" and the line under...And change to your needs. Should be it

Man, I aint able to do those things if the building is BASED of a hero

Or did I something wrong? Check it out

in objet editor, scroll down and find the field where it says, Pathing - bla bla
there open that, and uncheck all things inside, after that try building it

i think u may need 2 have a dummy building and then replace it with ur hero once it's built

And remove movement

Create a dummy building, with no model, walkable, but with a pathing map.
When the Hero tower starts building, create the dummy at the same spot.

Remember to remove it should the Hero disappear.

IIRC, there's an example in Blizzard's TD. A map you're sure to have.
