Hero XP Help

Ok, I've tried everything I know to fix this problem, but I just cant solve it. How do you make it so your hero gains less XP, or how do you change the XP until the next level for heros? Because on my map you can get to like level 10 with in the first minute, that is a problem >.>

"Hero - Set Experience Rate". You can also modify the block of "Hero XP Gained" fields in Gameplay Constants, but I have no idea how each field affects it (I probably could, had I given it some thought, but meh).

there's a creep exp table under gameplay constants, and a trigger action that sets the experience rate of a player that you could use.
