Hiding Active Abilities

How do you hide abilities? I'd like to make myself clear that I do NOT want to hide passive abilities like Devotion Aura, rather, I want to hide active abilities, such as Warstomp.

What I mean by hide is causing the ability to remain invisible, I.E you can't see it or click on it. HOWEVER, you can activate it by pressing it's respective hotkey, I.E t in the case of Warstomp.

If you can think of another supplement, I.E making a trigger activated by pressing T, then feel free to provide. No vJass, though, please!

I have three possibilities, but none are guaranteed to work.

1. Use Channel. It is hidden by default (an option in one of the Data fields), though I don't know if it is still able to be activated by a hotkey.

2. Put your abilities in a disabled spellbook and give that to the unit. I don't know if the abilities will be accessible or not, though.

3. Use items (most likely to succeed). You could attach your abilities to items and use the item hotkeys to activate them. They are not "hidden" per se, but that keeps them off of the normal ability window.

Your request is a tricky one. I belive there's not really a simple solution. It might be possible if your ability is pushed away and the other slots are filled, otherwise I'm not sure of an efficient solution.

But you cant.

Rainther's might be the only possible solution, you could try although (havent tested) giving like 20 different invisible channels which might "knock" off a spell and still allow its hotkey.

Or you could make 20 passive spells called "Unused" which do nothing to shove them off, this method, also relies on wether a "knocked" off spell's hotkey still works.
