How do I completely turn off a unit's movement?

Basically, I want the unit to stand still but still be able to cast spells.

Unit - Set UNIT movement speed to 0.00

That isn't working. What am I missing?

It should work? Do you have any events? If not... you can't make any "Unit - Set its movement speed to 0.00".

Yes I have an event. Everything else works fine in the trigger. The unit's movement is just not being turned off.

Is there something in the gameplay constants I need to change?

You need to change somthing under Advanced > Game constants. At default World Editor doesn't allow a unit to move so slowly, but changing a certain field there (I forgot which one) will allow you to do this.

You can also try to do:

E: Every 0.03 seconds.
C: BooleanVar is true
A: Issue unit X to stop.

That is the speed of the unit's animation, not the unit's movement speed ^^ Means if you make it 0%, I think that there would be a still picture for the unit, but he can still move.

no u must pause the unit first then set unit animation spd to 0 and ms to 0...

I tested be4 when u straight set animation and move spd to 0 wont work but by adding pause and unpause it works charm..
