How do i get rid of the patrol buttom?

well my hero is learning a lil too much skills n i need to make room so those spell would fit, how do i get rid of the patrol buttom found for heros? i dont really need those. i tried to look in game play constants but couldnt find anything on it.

umm would you know how to hide any ability icon if ur hero learns it? say for example, attribute bonus

about attribute bonus the spell itself has an option to be selected if u want to have an icon or not. For other spells u can use the channel ability without icon and add some effect with triggers.

if u have 5 abilitys and u put them up as
2,0
2,1
2,2
2,3
2,3

the last one of the 2,3 ones learned should not show up. if i remember it correctly. (anyone correct me if i'm wrong?)

iv read that its not possible to have more then 7 abilitys on 1 hero but i dont realy know if its true, i for example made a ranged hero a while ago, and gave her an aura that slowed everyone around her. the problem i had tho was that the icon for the aura didnt show up. "on the character" as a button.

i used the slow aura from the tornado, and used the cold attack as an icon and somehow it just didn't appear even if i had the right button position put in

wat do u mean for attribute bonus? there is a option of not showing the icon after u learnt it?

if there is, it would solve all my problem, right now the thing is i have some spell and i triggered it to have another spell (slow effect based off arua) to be added to the hero once they cast it.

in doing so, it would sometimes make other spells disappear because the hero got a new spell added.

i cant use dummy unit n give the spell to that unit because the hero have teleport ability

what i ment was that in Object Editor on the spell named Attribute Bonus there is an option to be selected that looks something like Level 1 - Data - Hide Button = False/True. Which means if u select it to be True that ability will not have a button at all and it will add the desired attribute bonus...

You can hide the Patrol button.
But, IIRC, not without hiding Attack.

It is possible to rmove the patrol button. Search for it. I hate it when noobies reply to questions that they don't know about. :thdown::nuts:

Uhh.
Whenever the unit is created or something.
And I wouldn't recommend removing though just to 'make room'.
Use a spellbook.
