could you maybe give us some more information?
do you mean the standart shockwave spell or is it a custom one?
if its a custom spell are you using a shockwave unit?
should the camera just be locked to the shockwave or face the same direction?
if you have already a trigger maybe you could upload it for a better understanding and quick help.
Something along these lines would work:
(distance is X, missile speed is y)
EVENTS:
Unit starts the effect of an ability
CONDITIONS:
Ability being cast is equal to shockwave
ACTIONS:
set point 1 = position of casting unit
set point 2 = target of ability being cast
Pan camera to point 1 over 0 seconds
Pan camera to point 1, offset x, angle from point 1 to point 2 over x / y seconds
I would probably make a unit with the shockwave model and use a dummy spell when the unit casts the spell create the shockwave unit at the position of the caster, lock the camera to the unit, and use a standard ass "slide" trigger to move the shockwave unit.
If you don't want to do that much work, TheSpoon's idea would work BUT with a little change:
set point 2 = target of ability being cast
don't set it to the target point. set it to the point that is the max distance away in the direction that the spell is being cast. because shockwave will keep moving past the point you targetted until it reaches the max distance set in the ability.
Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.
They also were digging threw old shit at the sheriff's office and I tried to get them to give me the old electronic stuff, but they said no. They can't give it to people because they might use it to impersonate a cop or break into their network or some shit? idk but it was a shame to see them take a whole bunch of radios and shit to get shredded and landfilled
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences
