IMO, a good map is an hour long RPG. I love those. And Ioannes is right - a 25 minute RPG will probably have no storyline, but an hour-long TD is way too long.
im making a hero defense/survival btw. so pick your votes by this info
@KaerfNomekop, i agree with you i love 60 min long rpgs and so. but lets be real, someone leave and then other and then other... oops 60 min map ends in 30 min...
Best games are those which you have to play for a long time and watch your each step (I'm making one of those). It is exhausting but after you finish it you feel relaxed
If you are relying on other players/teams to make the map fun, it should be shorter. However, single player TD's and RPG's, especially ones with save/load codes, can be as long as you want.
For an AoS, 30 min is good. For an Arena, 30-45 min. For hero games it really matters on what your level cap is, and whether or not you want all players to reach that cap in the span of one game.
Mini games, things like mazes, RKR, paint/dodgeball, and other similar light-hearted games usually shouldn't be more than 20 min.
Ghan has said he has fixed this. Monovertex please confirm this fix. This was only a problem with people that had signatures in the upper levels like not the special members but the respected members.
