How to make area un-blinkable?! HELP!!

SOLVED
There are some spots/areas in my map that I don't want people to blink into. How can I do this? :confused:

Make a region

Trigger:

Unit starts casts an ability

Casting Ability is Blink
Target of ability is in region

Order unit to stop (or move to own point if stop doesn't work)

Sorry if this isn't so helpful, but I did this out of my memory and I haven't touched World Editor for two months now.

Do you want this to only be for blink?

Well, I don't want ANYONE getting there, but I don't think there's any other way to get there except for blink.

EDIT:
Make a region

Trigger:

Unit starts casts an ability

Casting Ability is Blink
Target of ability is in region

Order unit to stop (or move to own point if stop doesn't work)

Sorry if this isn't so helpful, but I did this out of my memory and I haven't touched World Editor for two months now.

I guess I could do that, but the problem is the region thingy is square but the area i need to put it in is irregular in shape so it won't fit...
Is there another way? :confused:

The problem with regions is that I have to put a lot of small ones 'cause they're square/rectangular-ish in shape and the areas that I want them in irregular...

But, I guess if there's no other way, then I'll just use that. +1 rep for you guys. :)

Make the unwanted areas into a specific tile. Let's call the tile: Tile 1

Trigger:
  • (Terrain type at (Target point of ability being cast)) Equal to (Tile 1)


I'm sure you know what to do with this.

The problem with regions is that I have to put a lot of small ones 'cause they're square/rectangular-ish in shape and the areas that I want them in irregular...

But, I guess if there's no other way, then I'll just use that. +1 rep for you guys. :)


You could put a Large dummy unit in your area and just make it invisible

    • Conditions
      • (Ability being cast) Equal to Blink
      • (Terrain type at (Target point of ability being cast)) Equal to Lordaeron Summer - Grassy Dirt
    • Actions
      • Unit - Order (Casting unit) to Stop

It's not only for units with blink, it's for any unit...
