ok like many people probably have had trouble with i wanted to give a non-undead hero death pact in my dota mod thingy, now if i did this he was a sentinal hero and so his allis were all trents etc.

i decided that i wanted to keep this abillity but i got stuck as i know that it can't be cast on non-undead units, can someone please explain a way that i can change the 'targets allowed' or at least i'm assuming that's the problem so that i can use death pact.

and please someone explain how 'targets allowed' works so that i can understand it and use it with future abillities.

You can't make Death Pact consume the living. It's hardcoded to only accept undead.

change targets undead to living. or summoned w/e if u don't want it to hit undead units. change it around. some spells are hard coded though and can be a pain in the ass. if the case may be then you need to make dummy spells out of spells that allow you to do what you want then through triggers manipulate them into doing what you want.
