If a trigger doesn't have an event, does a defeault event occur?

I saw this trigger on several other maps my friend found fun
so i was confused when there was no event, so i was wondering if there is like a default event that occurs on
Code:
Defeat Quitting Player
    Events
    Conditions
        ((Player((Integer A))) slot status) Not equal to Is playing
        isPlaying[(Integer A)] Equal to True
    Actions
        Unit Group - Pick every unit in (Units owned by (Player((Integer A)))) and do (Unit - Explode (Picked unit))
        Game - Defeat (Player((Integer A))) with the message: You have been defea...
        Set isPlaying[(Integer A)] = False
        Trigger - Run Victory <gen> (checking conditions)

The trigger is activated by using the

Code:
Trigger - Run Defeat Quitting Player <gen> (checking conditions)
or by the
Code:
Trigger - Run Melee Initialization <gen> (ignoring conditions)
in other triggers.

In other words, one of these actions is used in another trigger to activate this trigger.
