Infinity is a number without human comprehension. In this topic, I would like to discuss the vastness of the universe and infinity. I will accept "scientific" responses, but I do not like seeing them because it's based on only a couple hundred years of research. But that's the point of debates, so go ahead and put em' out there.

This is what I believe: (Pretty philosophical view on things, but here it goes)
If the universe were infinite, then there would be an infinite amount of possibilities. This means everything we see and look at.. is infinite. If the universe is infinite, then there must be an infinite amount of Earth's out there, and infinite amount of people exactly like you. An infinite amount of everything. Maybe what we see as humans is just an infinite amount of dimensions overlapping eachother?
Again, the possibilities are completely (and literally) endless.
If everything were infinite (including the universe), nothing would exist in my opinion.
But, again, the possibilties are endless
My religious point of view out of all of this:
I see God(or the higher being, whatever you want to call it) as everything. Because if something is truly a God, why wouldn't it be EVERYTHING, or existence itself?
I could go on and on about this, but I think this pretty much sums up my point of view.
Everything is a Paradox.
Sorry if this is a pointless debate, but i find it very interesting to see what other people think about this.
