install problems

I understand people have trouble with "insert play disc" install problems. My problem is with "insert expansion disc". I almost make it all the way through install when it stops and tells me again "insert expansion disc". Any ideas? I run windows xp and I have installed this before on this computer. Why all of a sudden it wont install exp.?

Yup, people complain about "insert play disc" problems....

What I get is after all the files are installed for LoD, it checks MPQ file integrity, and after that is done, it says "bad data file found during installation. please uninstall and reinstall"

There is a point during the installation of LoD when it needs the
D2 play disc so it can access an mpq file.

Could you be misreading the install instructions ?
