Is this possible to make ?

Hey everyone,

Ive had this really neat idea after playing alot of games like this of late so I wanted to try to make a map like it in the world editor.

The idea is to make a turn based strategy game where you summon units and have resource management and limited movement with each unit and limited attacks etc etc.

now if you dont know what Im talking about, I mean something like what you have in final fantasy: tactics or such games, where you say for example have 100 resources, you then summon a hero to the ground which costs 80 resources and thus you have 20 left, that hero then has say 8 action points, with thouse points it can either move 8 "squares" or move 6 "squares" and then use the last 2 action points to use an ability or attack etc.

Now Im wondering if a system like this could be implimented into warcraft and if it would acctually work, also the whole turn based thing if that would work, freeze all the units on the field except the unit thats beeing "manipulated" at the time.

Im not looking for help to make this or advice on how, Im mostly wondering if the possibility is even there.

ever played "Seed TD" you could something alike that.

and make dummies around the "selected unit" and when you click on them the unit moves to that point and gives a - movement point.
