Item editor - Item Priority

When in the object editor for items there is a stat labeled Priority. Now I assume this is the priority for that item to be picked up by an AI hero/unit. But does the item have higher priority if its a higher number or lower number?

Like would an item with 100 priority be picked up before an item with 1 priority?


I looked around on google and on these forums and I see no mention of item priority. Any help would be awesome! thank you.

To be honest I have no clue
but I guess 100 would be higher, don't know thou
but actually what do you need that for??

I made a custom map with some of my own items, but in the game I realized the AI would rarely pick said items up. They would always go for shittier items. I was completely baffled, then I found this stat and I wasn't sure which way to set it.

really don't know, just try it I guess ^^

but yea mostly a AI only picks up items premade my Blizzard atleast for me, only picked up mine if there where no others there lol

Well, try setting it to 1 and seeing what happens. Then try setting it to 100 and seeing what happens.
