Line Tower Wars, making units better

I'm creating a LTW map on which people can send their units to other peoples towers and if they manage to get through the towers, the sender receives points.

The units are controlled by the map and every player has same units to send (they have a building where they "buy" these units and they appear on the other player's path).

What I want is to increase units base stats by buying upgrades. Like increase the base health of all own units by 5% or increase the base damage of all units by 10%, but I have no idea how to do this.

I needed this for my Tower Defense map to gradually increase the units hit points pr. level, since every spawn is random... eg. round 1 the first time wont have the same unit as the second time you play it..

The solution is actually simple.. Base the units on heroes and add agility for defense, strength for health and intellect for damage (set their primary att to intellect)
Remember to edit the art fields for the minimap so they dont show on there as hero units.

Worth noting.
You can change how much health each point of strength will give the unit in the gameplay constants, same with how much damage each point of int will give and so forth.

I already have made dozens of units that are not based of heroes. :(

Is there a way to make the "Upgrade Building" have an aura that increases those stats on all units?

I've read the tutorial but I still don't know how to do this:

When I click an upgrade on a building, every unit I have now or I will spawn later will have more health or more speed etc.

you base the upgrade from another..but change the effect of the upgrade to add hp,speed, w/e u want :] but dont forget to add it to you unit too

oh...or you could give it an aura..... :/ that effects your units only for the expance of the map....increasing armor..hp.ect.. and make it upgrade w/ trigger for each time your building is uped...which is prolly the easier of the ways as well..... (w/ a lil seperate building that looks epic in the map somewhere :p)

I would like to do it with an aura. Can you show me how to create an aura that gives 10% boost to health and then show me how to give the aura to a building of mine with a trigger.

The aura would have to cover the whole map.

Its simpler just to use upgrades.

Create a new upgrade change the data field to health bonus % make it .10. Change the tooltips/costs to what ever you want. Under the upgrade field on the units add this upgrade.
At your research center add this as a research.

im a bit confuse now..is it an upgrade that ups when the building is upgraded or just something u can upgrade yourself at any time?

Why a aura when you can use a modified hit point upgrade? It can be made in like 20 seconds.

Armor and speed is however easily made by auras (devotion/unholy or endurance), but health is alot harder through auras since there is no existing health bonus aura.

Do them all with modified:

Health - The human hit points upgrade. (changing the set value to %)
Armor - I think you can make the standard armor upgrade give %, otherwise use a aura.
Speed - The undead speed upgrade.

All answers are great but still. For the third or fourth time I have to tell you that I don't know how to do this!

Someone post a script that gives this health bonus upgrade to all current and future units of player red for example.

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
