Lists blinking and blanking.

Well,

my World Editor plays a hide & seek joke with me.

When working in editors (Object, Campaign, etc, only not on trigger editor) the screen become blanked on the list of icons and names.
Need to minimize/maximize or alternate tabs to view the stuff again.

Why?
Does yours do the same?

Your computer hates you. <-- Thats my only guess...you might want to check your vid card, directx, prefences of your WE, and then consider getting a new computer.

damn, i am still paying for it.
just cannot simply change computer.

the card is a geforce 8500
windows XP already
2 giga ram

cant be the computer....

are there a way to reinstall only the editor?
its so boring that eveytime you conect to battle.net that massive download of atualizations

Look at the Clipboar002.jpg, the campaign editor. The maps list is blank.

Look at the Clipboard003.jpg, the object editor Unit´s list of contents is blank.If I click on it, appear only the line clicked (Grunt, in the example)

Try reinstalling W3.

When I test my map from the editor, the window I pressed the "Test Map" button is always on top after I quit WC3; it's impossible to get other windows above it. It's strange.

I couldnt use Firefox or MSN until restart the World Editor.

Its surely a bug.

But what about my problem?
Doesnt occur with yours?

Either you have those 2 things, or again your settings are messed up.

I dislike cracked games when I really love them. Thats the case of W3. I love it!
Its original.
I´m thinking about to write a note to Blizzard asking about this error.

Virus isnt the cause for sure.

Maybe the setting of my monitor´s resolution?
No. I tested on another monitor with a lower resolution, and still blanked the lists.

I want to know if is there a way to reinstall only the editor.... Maybe works...

Nothing like that, no. Just that it keeps in front of all other windows. Minimizing it works though.

And an other question: Have you always been able to blink down to deep water?

Have you tried using a different editor?
If this bug happens on normal, try using an edited WE, like NewGen. If your using an edited WE, try on the original.

maybe something wrong when you click Test Map, then go back to wc3?
