Hello to all you warcraft players out there hope this post finds you in good spirits I am obviously new here kinda obvious as this is my first post isn’t it anyway I have been visiting the site for a couple weeks now after my wife picked up a copy of warcraft 3 and I saw that it had a level editor this seems to be the best repository of detailed info on creating warcraft 3 custom maps and I have found myself drawn to the ease of use of the WWE I have quite a bit of armature experience in creating maps for FPS and RTS games and have enjoyed the last couple of weeks popping out maps for my wife to play on when she gets bored of the game itself in addition to normal maps I have an interest in TD maps and have already created 4 or 5 maps minus a few important things …… which finally gets me to my point, not to toot my own horn but I can crank out simple maps minus custom scripts and triggers by the boat load unfortunately I have found that TD maps require a fair amount more knowledge in scripting than I have time to learn about let alone time to sit down and type out so I am in search of a bored coder in search of something I personally think my be a challenge although since most of my coding experience has gone the way of the doo doo (Pascal anyone?) I may be wrong so I am including a small list of examples of what I need


Unlimited waves ( I have most of the general code layout just not the JASS equivalent)

Pathing and Mazing on the same Map (again I have the gist of it just need someone to put it in JASS format)


Plus a few other things to be disused if anyone is interested

Welcome.
A few things to prevent you from seeming like too much of a noob:
Use periods sometimes.
It's called the World Editor, or WE, not Level Editor or WWE.
Search in the Tutorial Database in the WE Help Forums (WEHZ) to get started.
Also, this should be in the WE Help Forum.

Note that this list is not meant to be offensive.

just a few things on your few things
-sorry im 33 years old and hate grammer and spelling I spell check but rarely bother with grammer I'll throw a few in for ya though might not. be in the right places though :p

-thanks for the correction on WWE WE was my next thought (Im sure ive seen it a billion times already without noticing)

-I have been through a lot of the tutorials section already, and have been picking apart the TD tut by Andrewgosu. Im having issues understanding some of his stuff but heading to look for coding tuts now (probably those WE help forums you mentioned)

and no offence taken every forum has its ways thanks for pointing me in the right direction

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
