Losing HD space?

One of two things is happening.
1) I am being paranoid.
2) I am losing HD space slowly.

I am currently keeping a log of my HD space starting today.
I have a screenshot of me missing 28.9 GB of hard drive space.
I'll post more later, but if you want to see the image i will give you the link.

Windows will use a certain amount of your free space for system restore points. Better than it just sitting there empty!

XP info http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/getstarted/ballew_03may19.mspx (similar idea in Vista)

Theres a great tool out there called Scanner which graphically shows you what files use up how much space. You can find the problem there. The program is in german but that shouldnt be a problem.
