making heros

like in DnD dragon lands advance the heros starts with only a little health but it wont heal all the way until u kill more units and lvl up how do u do that?

In the DnD maps, they do that through basing off the custom points score:

Conditions:
ACCUMULATES
- 'Current player' accumulates 'at least 1000' 'gas'.

Actions:
DISPLAY TEXT MESSAGE
- Display for current player:
*********LEVEL UP!************
MODIFY SCORE
- Modify score for 'Current player': 'Set to' '2' 'Custom'
MODIFY UNIT HIT POINTS
- Set hit points for 'all' 'Men' owned by 'Current player' at 'Anywhere' to '20%'.

From that you could figure out how "healing beacons" and healing at the start works.... fairly easy method, it just raises the units hit points a percentage of the units max total life.
