Making waves stop when spotting an enemy

Hi.
I'm making a "hero defense" map (choose a hero, defend a building from attacking waves).
My problems is the following: How can I make the waves stop and attack me when I'm in range?
Please help me if you can.

I don't understand what you do here?
Is it the event or the action?

You could use Time- Periodic Event as your Event, such that it would end up being something like this:

Trigger:
  • Untitled Trigger 001
    • Events
      • Time - Every 120.00 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Unit Group - Pick every unit in Harvesters and do (Unit Group - Order Harvesters to Attack-Move To (Center of Region 001 <gen>))


Obviously the specifics will vary based on your preferences. "Harvesters" was just a unit group I already had in the map I used to mock up the trigger, so yours will very likely say something different, etc etc.

Note that you'll also have to add each successive wave to the "Harvesters" (or whatever) group if you want to use a Periodic Event trigger. Otherwise, I believe you'll have to create a separate trigger for every wave, as well as a separate unit group.
