Map Ideas?

I need ideas for a map. My guess is that other people do to.

It can be anything:
Maybe a theme or new building idea for a TD?
Maybe a new type of map altogether?

Just post ideas for Myself and others to use :)

I was thinking, why don't you just make a TD with a twist of hero survivor or something, have 1 tower you start out with, tons of upgrades etc. Each player gets their own survival area.

Only 1 tower... ever?
Or you can only build 1 type of tower.

If its 1 tower... That'd just be so boring :p

And Td's also have many sub-categories. (Maul, Maul Wars, Survivor etc)

And you can post ideas for those :p

What if you have have a mual that used unit insted of tower or building???
I think that would be a good idea get a wintermual map and turn all the towers in to units:p

Unbalanced. Put all units at bottom, and block the way. And melee would be hard to hit with, they hit, stop for their cooldown, then move to attack again.

Yes. You'd also be able to move towers to hit the units at all times... The towers would have to be very weak.

Any Themes or Other Ideas?

I tried to make a TD
I had no time to do it (And i hab a life)
One builder
Everyone starts off w/ one and hopefully, ends with one
He builds 3 towers
Spell Tower
Weapon Tower
MISC

They all upgrade like crazy
Weapon branches into ranged, meele, and seige weap
and so on

Misc is for upgrades, auras, etc.
(And if you want, food production or income or w/e)
And that's how it goes
It's an abandoned project and i still hab some of the tower stuff if you want
But it's gonna take a lot of time (And some research mebbe)

Well, i had an idea last night ( That i recently realised is abit of a risk map but anyway )
That you start of as a King of a small kingdom, and you need to become, well, a big kingdom.
So you need to make money, first you have to train more farmers to increase your revuneue, then you need to built trading posts so you can trade with other nations, then, when you have enough money, build a large army and increase your kingdoms size.
and the mroe towns you own, the larger the army you can have.
Just a thought, i tried to make it but im RUBBISH at terrien so i just gave up ^^

How about make a "Death Note" something kind of map?
Well one should know almost everything about that anime, and it is not me.
All I know about death note is that once he knew your name, you're dead the way he wrote it with your name.

And... How would that make a good map?

it's not going to make a good map
a person's imagination is infinite which means there are infinite ways to kill a person
how the hell are u gonna make triggers for all of those possibilities?
if u write he was stabbed but u don't hab that as a trigger, he can't die being stabbed
and that's pointless
it's just killing
no strategies or anything

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
