when using the vex map optimizer , how will you know if your map is protected?
I am planning to release a test map in garena so it cannot be ripoff by some people with world editor... but if they want to learn with my map i'll share with them...

Well, open the map, and if doesn't open, it's protected.

Nope, so you better make a back-up copy.

You can't tell, because it's impossible.
However, if you use the optimizer, you can damage the map file enough so that it can't be opened by the World Editor, but it can be opened and used by Warcraft III, without issues.
