The monsters/items/map names are not the fucken same... i just said it's not... omg... the jobs are slightly the same but not at all.

Ok i need someone to beta test my rpg, must be active on battle.net and must not be an idiot AT ALL, my recent beta tester just through a hissey fit and i fired him T_T (lol?)

Are you on Azeroth? If so I'll help. And I've never played Maplestory so I won't be able to compare it to Mapster's ORPG.

Ok i have put a download for beta 7 on the first page, this has a new few items and a new couple of new areas and the map is slowly crawling out on it's way to completion but is still no where being completed.

Let me know if i have missed anything nad if i should add something, i still havn't got the stacking weapon restriction done yet; but there is item-class restriction.

Well it's based on Maplestory (Jobs, Map names, type, monsters, items, etc.)

but it's better than Maplestory. I would suggest to make it less "Maplestory" give it a warcraft touch?

I agree. Not that it makes the game bad, but alot of minor "concepts" are similar to those from maplestory. You get your jobs at certain places, the potions are named after their colors, the assassin uses stars, and such. It doesn't need a Warcraft touch just because it's a W3-mod, and you don't have to avoid the Maplestory touch. But since Maplestory is a very lame game, it's nothing to model yours on

What I mean with the attack skills' underpower, is that the damaging abilities are not really worth using since they don't do much more damage than a normal attack.

I'm not basing it on maplestory, i played the maplestory map and it inspired me to make this and it pushed me into expanding my ideas.

Yeah i realized that, i've changed a few things such as the health from the health spray and the critical strike is hiugher in chance and so on.

I've started working on the 2nd jobs for each class, i've got the magician class done and will be working on the Axemen class next unless i can think of some really good ideas heh.

I have an idea for Assassins that tehre will be an upgrade that increases the chance of get a critical strike and will increase the amount of damage to muiltiplys by.

Beta 9 has been released, i realize it skipped a version but since i added another advancement i might as well make it look better heh.

In Beta 9 i added a new job advancement as said above for all 3 classes which can be obtained by going to your job instructor at level 35.

A new area has been added called "Lava Demons Lair" which has level 60 monsters in it and are fun to kill when the right level.

Check the quests log in-game for more additions.
Download added to the front page.

Ok i fixed a few problems, added in the item restriction and the quest item message on all items.

Added in more onto the new part of the map.

The Quest located at Blue Fish Hunting ground now gives +1000exp instead of 100.
New Command "-repick" which all player can use to restart their character and make a new character.
The item's name "Tree Brance" is now changed to "Tree Branch"
All Quest items now have a Orange label on them.
Trainee's of the Undead now have starts on their hands when equipt with starts.
The description of "Critical Strike Research" has now been changed.
More added onto the new area with new monsters for player 1 to roam around in.

Don't know if the -repick works yet.

Players that leave the game now have their units removed from the game and items dropped from their heroes.
Added more onto the new island.
Connected the new island with the present.
Item restriction removed until fixed.
Blue and Red fish now have a name change to "Small Murloc and Medium Murloc"
