Max 3d!

now that i know how to model things... i want max 3d but i have to download it, all the things are okay BUT.... when i try to open it, they want me to open it with winzip.. i downloaded it and now i tried to open max 3d...:banghead:

Can someone make a tutorial of how to open MAX 3D for me plz because i want to put some model on my map!!! plz!!!

Have you tried EXTRACTING it? What's the file name, 3ds Max 5.zip? If so, extract. Otherwise, unistall winzip (its useless anyway). By the way, if you downloaded 6 or 7 don't even try. You can only make warcraft models in 3ds max 4 and 5.
 
but now i want to know how to download it with discreet.com...
i make ''search'', after i type 3D MAX 4 and it only give me the comments page!!!
 
Isn't that illegal ??
I can imagine how hard to download pirated software ....

Well ... My old man have the original one ... and having no prob while opening it though ... :p

why don't you use other software ?...

discreet.com won't give you 3ds max... its a multi-hundred dollar program -.-

yeah, use g-max if you don't want to download it using download programs (you can't go onto google and download 3ds max illegally -.-)
 
AWWWWWWWWW... it still dont fuckin work!! i only want 3DS MAX VER.3 or 4... I DONT WANT VERSION THAT NEED WINZIP FUCKIN ASS SITE TO OPEN IT!!!! can you, elmstfreddy tell me how and where to dl the ver of 3ds max??
 
The best way: Azureus, uTorrent, or BitComet (I suggest uTorrent). Download that from google, then go to... isohunt.com and search for 3ds max 5. Choose one with lots of seeds, then say "open with uTorrent" when you download it. Then click to uTorrent, some box will come up showing the files in the download file. You click ok, then it will start downloading. Taa daa!
 
nvm i find it out!!! but it also takes a lot of time to download!!!
 
well that was an inequivalent trade for $$10.000 software

do you think 3ds max only cost $1 ? ... welll ... NO !1...

well i guess u will make some wc3 models....
else you can make 3d model of a house ... room interior ... or even a gigantic tower.

there's many reason why this software take a lot of $$$ ....
commonly used by architect, interior designer, game design, etc .... which of course they have a lot of resources ( monkey ... remove the k ) take blizzard for example.

i don't support piracy though ( no offense :cool: ).... but for multi hundred software .. guess you can't afford it ... so .. umm ... it's fate :p
 
im talkin about: What do i make after i downloaded it at 100%??? on utorrent, for sure... do i press open it, execute??? whare are thos buttons??
 
well if it was an installer then simply double click on it
were it was rar ... you can either unzip rar or just open it and double click any setup/executable in it .... not sure if there any keygen or crack in it .... :cool:

u torrenting .rar or .exe ??...
 
hummm.... i need to know how much time does it takes to you to dl it???

Because i took one that take 20 days or more to dl it!!!!!

but there are ver that takes 2 mins, 2 hours, 20 hours 2 days, depends on the number of seeds... the one of 20 days have 200 seeds!!! is it the good one??? and the one of 20 hours have 51 seeds!!! and the one of 2 mins have ??? seeds!!!!! What one is the good one??? can ya answer me plz i really need it!!!
 
i don't know ... check the file available in torrent .... maybe one of them contains some unnecessary file ...

Do they have same size ?....
How about the torrent health ?...
if there are any comments ... read it ...
 
now, im asking elmstfreddie, ONLY HIM, not you c-series... How to open the max 3d thing when i finished to dl it??? can you plzzz tell me because im gonna destroy my computer if it dont work because ive wait at least 1 day for the download!!! I WANNA KNOW PLZZZ!!!
 
Firstly, i really doubt that we'll be able to help you with this.. Try in one of the other forums, or search for your problem, or visit www.wc3sear.ch. I do know that your eager to solve this problem, HOWEVER it's not allright to double post like a mad man, and DO NOT use offensive language. These forums got a certain level of dignity, please don't drag it down. And read the Forum rules before you post any more treads/post. I don't give minus rep, but others might...

Have you tried reading the read me, that proberly followed with the download? Or better yet, how about you go ask on the site you downloaded from?

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
