Okay; I'm doing this RPG for 12 players, but I've run into this problem:

In cities, they are not supposed to attack eachother, so to prevent this, I first tried to make all units in the region (CityRegion) invulnerable, but then there were some issues with ranged troops, so I set the range of all troops in the region to 0.

But there's still problems. Anyone knows a simple, good way to do this?

Is there a way to set a units attack to 0?

Does "Cargo Hold (Burrow)" simply just turn of attacks?

Ever had a look at an Orc Burrow?
They have an attack, with range, damage, missile, ... and yet they don't shoot unless there's some Peon(s) inside.

Well, that feature comes from the Cargo Ability...

Now, normal Heroes don't have any loading abilities, neither do they have a need for cargo,
but, the "no attack unless loaded" feature works on them just fine.


There's probably less "strange" ways to turn off attacks, but I always liked this one :p



You may want to have a look at a memory leak tutorial.

And, "Do nothing" is not needed, it isn't doing anything anyway.

Creep Respawn

I'll just keep bugging you all!

Anyone knows a good idea for a creep respawn system?

I've tried EVERYTHING.

But it just won't work.

It depends on the type of creep respawn system you want. Any requirements, needed special features?

Read the tutorial, solved the problem.



So I've moved on with RPG to the hero creation, and ran into a rather annoying broblem, I can't make "Disease Cloud" affect other undeads, no matter how I set the "Targets Allowed".
And since the most of the creeps in the game is undead, and since "Disease Cloud" is one of the hero's main skills, it's kind of a dead-end so far.

Is there a way to make undead units affected by this, without having to change their "Unit Classification"?

i suppose if it doesnt work you might have to use a different ability... base it off immolation and use a dummy caster for the disease effect?

To make a disease cloud, I don't think a dummy unit it needed (Altho I am a big fan of them).

Just use Permanent Immolation, change the looks and debuff text, and there u go :)

Well just dump the unit classification "Undead"
or face the difficulties :D

make an aura with targets set to enemys and then pick every X secs all units with that buff create a dummy unit for each and order them to Acidbomb(i dont know if its the right ability) the buffed units(set the icon of the aura buff to none then you wont see it)

The problem with Permanent Immolation however, is that Disease Cloud still gives damage, even when not standing next to the caster.

... tried the other stuff you were talking about, some minor conflicts with other triggers, but I've got it sorted out now.
