I said nothing of the such. I didn't say "let him go so he can kill more people", I said "put him down with meds or something respectable". You can kill someone without lots of pain via injections, that is how it is done currently most times. There is no need to torture another human being, simply because something happened. If you don't want him/her on this world anymore, kill him/her respectively. Torturing and hurting in the name of "payback" is barbaric and does nothing more than prove how stupid and uncivilized our human race is, and is done solely out of emotion. No, he doesn't deserve to live. But kill him in a torturous way is no better than what he/she did to whoever they killed. The last thing we need to do is give the idea that it's okay to hurt/kill/torture someone because you didn't like something they did, even if it is killing someone. Inject them, and get it over with. Don't stoop to their barbaric level.

There really aren't very many situations where torture is actually going to be beneficial... just saying, it would make a lot more sense to just shoot him.

I really don't see why people are getting so worked up over things like this anyway. Everyone is pissed about this and the black kid that got murdered, and really it's a fairly insignificant thing. I mean this is totally irrelevant to anything we've been talking about, I just find it interesting that people have this much emotion over things like this and felt like pointing it out. Maybe someone can tell me why? It's really making me curious....

I dont find it especially relevant or interesting. There are enough other people getting slaughtered day in day out. And whenever i hear the story of a single person getting killed i dont really care much when i think what other cruel things are going on. But maybe i am just weird.
I cant change much anyways. Could buy a weapon go there and start shooting bad guys, but does anybody thing that would turn things to the better?

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
