Lego if you are serious about learning, I can answer your questions if you have AIM. Otherwise, you're better off finding someone to show you in person, or buy a book. If you made a thread with each and every question like how to change color, it would be 1243264745 posts long before you learned anything. I am [email protected] or IM me at that name. But again, if you're asking just for the hell of it, then I'd rather not try to help you--only if you were sincere.
I spose you should ask the person I made it for but you don't have to give me credit--I don't really care. It's not like I'm known in the icon making field. My name would just be superfluous information, but you can if you want
anyone can use icons i requested. im just kinda texting his ability with icons to make. try making this huge beast grabing a peasent about to devour it.
Okay I'm all done doing requests Here are three more anyone is welcome to use. And remember you can rename them if you like just change the import path in your map to whatever you change it to. I can't decide if the last one looks best with pupils or not. She looks more posessed with none.
Thanks guys I don't include the DIS because I was lazy and I just wanted to show you guys what I did, but if anyone wants these converted to blp or needs DIS version or both, I can do that no problem. I got an idea for making the living dead resemble a charm effect. Gonna post that next.
And this kind of stuff cannot be done on photoshop, photoshop is only good for manipulating images or making effects/filters. Paper Agent's icons are very good examples of what effects and filters can do to make cool things. But these I made are drawings I did first and I added color balance and a few filters.
EDIT: The first one could be done in just photoshop since I removed all detail I had drawn. It just wasn't readable as it was so I just made it a nice readable silloughette.
RUINation, u r unreal! u icons like better than blizzards! keep posting ones u made, I had fun just looking at them (Iwould use them but i cant coz i cant import no matter how many tutorials i read). You brighting up my day, ruination!
Not only are they fun to look at (I spent all this morning drooling and getting eye cancer) but they are also very useful for the Mapmaker community. Keep going.
Earlier in this thread you mentioned something about finding a manual on how to use adobe photoshop. I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to good ones?
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
