My spell doesnt work even if it should ^^ help ?

Im trying to make a spell (based on entangle but with melee range) that "entangles" ur target for 4, 6, 8 ,10 sec and urself for 5 sec(on all lvls). Uhm, the spell entangles ur opponent but not urself

Have a look please:



- The dummy IS a hero, has got full initial and max mana. Ive also checked the targeting, its good. -

Try increasing the wait duration (the dummy may be removed too early?).

Try manually casting the ability (add the item to a hero, and use it on an allied unit and see if it works)

omg, my dummy didnt have an inventory "LAWL". well now it works. ty to you, enabled visibility of the item(scale n model) and saw that it was just created on the ground and not picked up. then i checked my dummies abilities and saw that ive mistakenly removed the inventory "gj to me"

wait your using items for Entangling roots? cause i know that the item wand of illusion dont work if you make it an ablity with id's and stuff, but for entangling root you can just add the ablity right into the dummy, why dont you try doing that and ordering the unit to Night Elf - Keeper of the Grove - Entangling Roots ur caster. aslo it will cause your casting unit not to cast his ablity on the other unit so have another dummy cast entangling roots on ur target as well just to give yourslef insurance.
