Need help: Cliffs

hi

the only thing i hate in WC editor, dunno its a bug or wth but i cant make cliffs, like if i want to make a river, i have to make it horizontal or vertical or there will be some unrampable cliffs... check this pics out it explains what i want to say...

the river on the other pic is made by lowering terrain, not by creating cliffs
I never had such problem though, I guess it's a bug...

theres still a question: when i want to create water, a cliff is created, so how do i ramp that?

When you create a map you choose "Initial cliff level". If it is set to "0", you won't be able to lower terrain.

Go World Editor -> Advanced -> Adjust Cliff Levels and set it to maybe 5 or something.

I am not 100% sure though..

actually, it doesn't always mean when you have water, you have a cliff...
there is a much better way on making rivers (at least they look much better)

i always set it to 2 when making New Map, but still i lower terrain to maximum but no water... the only way is to create ocean map and then take UP some tarrain, or is there another way?
