need help (too complicated for title)

i want to have a mob drop 1 of 4 items (depending on which player killed it)
and for that mob to rez until all 4 players have killed it (and have unit x)

every time the mob dies i want it to trigger a countdown for the killing player
which end when unit carrying item sets it down its circle of power

then for another countdown to start (and restart if unit leaves the CoP)
so that the unit has to stay there and x unit type must be present

at the end of the countdown i want the item to be destroyed and a unit to spawn

and set that unit so if it dies player is eliminated

so it would be like
player 1 kills phenix,(begin time), phenix drops egg (assigned to player 1 no one else can touch) while holding egg attach effect to left hand

player sets egg in CoP, (end time), if item and unit type x (owned or ally)
are present, (begin time)

(time ends) egg dies, phenix is spawned at CoP

but if at any time a countdown is interupted (not met), player must kill phenix again to get new egg

really need help on this, (im still new to triggers)

How do you know that each player only grabs one item? Is it ok to have more than one item?

Sets the item in "the player's hero's" circle of power?

unit of who's ownership? Why is it a negative or positive effect.

Why would killing that unit be bad for the player?
so it would be like

What is assigned to him? The item? The unit? Instruction lacking order
player sets egg in CoP, (end time), if item and unit type x (owned or ally)
are present, (begin time)
He must set it in CoP right as time finishes? unit type from created unit?
(time ends) egg dies, phenix is spawned at CoP
Phoenix spawn is of who's ownership? Be more descriptive.

Without a title or introduction I am unable to understand what you want until the last line.
really need help on this, (im still new to triggers)

Can you post a picture of what you have? Or be more descriptive?

sorry was playing w/ other maps..

i cant really make a trigger set to show, cause i really have no clue what im doing

the basic idea is that the each player has a quest to kill the wild phenix and raise
an egg, but if any of the countdowns arnt completed the egg dies and that player has to attempt the quest again

(the phenix only drops 1 "egg" at a time, which is reserved for the killing player)
(so i need a trigger to make other players unable to attack the phenix while another player is already trying)

(and to have a, time since recived dmg from source, so a player cant be a prick and hit and run, making everyone wait)

if the player sucessfully raises the egg it hatches into a phenix hero type unit
and if the players phenix dies the player is eliminated

the map is meant to be a sort of last man standing/ king of the hill, hybrid

players are eliminated if
1. they cant produce units (having no peasants nor unit producing buildings, or if they have unit producing buildings but no farms)

or
2. if they raise a phenix and it dies

a player can win if they raise a phenix and it survives for 10min and other players
fail to raise thier own phenix before that 10mins is up

Thats a very neat concept idea. Are the players in separate lanes/areas/fields?

the map is pretty much open though i do plan on making similar concept for perhaps a dungeon or a 50/50 style map

i jus wish computers AI could process quests and custom building requirements

cause it leaves me only w/ my brother to play against and 1v1 only works for so much

Could always host it on bNet I suppose. I would really appreciate seeing the map layout prior to coding anything.
