Ok.. I'll offer some of mine:

Necromancer
Summon Darkling (Targets corpses, Active)
- Every mortal being or Hell creature has a dark side, and past sins. The Necromancer brings all of these pasts and dark acts into a single spiritual force in the corpse of the mortal. The Necromancer summons a Darkling from that corpse, a monstrous creature with a body similar to that of the fallen one's body, yet blackish (0|0|0 Tint). The Darkling is stronger and faster than the original mortal being.

Depending on what kind of unit is turned into a Darkling (e.g. Tauren, Grunt, Footman, etc.), the mana cost varies. The more HP, the more mana cost.

NOTE: This spell is just like resurrecting a fallen corpse (with the same name of the unit and damage, HP and mana). However his color becomes black and he is stronger and faster.

Level 1 - +100 HP, +50 mana, +15 damage and 25% movement speed to Darkling. Lasts 20 seconds.
Level 2 - +150 HP, +75 mana, +20 damage and 30% movement speed to Darkling. Lasts 25 seconds.
Level 3 - +200 HP, +100 mana, +25 damage and 40% movement speed to Darkling. Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 4 - +250 HP, +150 mana, +30 damage and 50% movement speed to Darkling. Lasts 40 seconds.

Blood Golem
The Necromancer makes use of some of his blood and his dark incantations to summon forth a golem made out of flesh and blood. This golem is tied to the Necromancer's health. When the Blood Golem attacks an enemy, 100% of his attack damage is transferred to the Necromancer's health supply. Alas, this path flows in both ways, meaning; when the Blood Golem is attacked, 75% of the damage taken from that attack goes to the Necromancer as well.

The Blood Golem has 5 armor (Heavy) and 320 movement speed. Only one golem can be controlled and maintained at a time.

Level 1 - 450 HP Golem, 30-50 damage, Moderate Attack Speed.
Level 2 - 550 HP Golem, 45-68 damage, Moderate Attack Speed, +30 Mana Cost.
Level 3 - 750 HP Golem, 58-82 damage, Fast Attack Speed, +40 Mana Cost.
Level 4 - 1050 HP Golem, 75-100 damage, Very Fast Attack Speed, +50 Mana Cost.

Underworld Spirit
Summons a spirit of the underworld that is unselectable, and it automatically seeks its own target. When he sought his target, he will rip part of the target's soul apart, dealing massive damage, at the cost of the Spirit's life.

Level 1 - 400 damage
Level 2 - 800 damage
Level 3 - 1250 damage
Level 4 - 1750 damage

Banshee
Spirits of Anguish
The Banshee is able to tap with the spirit realm, and is able to summon forth some of the most wicked and mischievous spirits and instilling those spirits to enemy units in a small area (300 AoE). Those units constantly hear the gibbering and wailing of the spirits, and their cries of anguish, draining their health, as well as their mana. This crescendo of mental disorder drives the units crazy, randomly attacking any unit close by, whether you, friend or foe!

Level 1 - 50 HP and 35 Mana drained per second. Lasts 15 seconds.
Level 2 - 60 HP and 45 Mana drained per second. Lasts 25 seconds.
Level 3 - 67 HP and 55 Mana drained per second. Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 4 - 75 HP and 65 Mana drained per second. Lasts 45 seconds.

Chain of Resistance
The Banshee summons a bolt of green energy which bounces to nearby allies. Affected allies are surrounded by a shell which makes them totally impervious to any spells (Spell Immunity), and adds to their armor.

Level 1 - +5 armor. Bounces up to 3 units. Lasts 20 seconds.
Level 2 - +10 armor. Bounces up to 4 units. Lasts 25 seconds.
Level 3 - +15 armor. Bounces up to 5 units. Lasts 30 seconds.
Level 4 - +20 armor. Bounces up to 6 units. Lasts 40 seconds.

Curse of the Damned
The Banshee curses enemy units in an area of 400 AoE. Those cursed will take damage and lose mana when they cast spells. Those units will also take damage when they attack their enemies.

Level 1 - 100 damage and 75 Mana lost. 50% of attack damage returned.
Level 2 - 175 damage and 150 Mana lost. 60% of attack damage returned.
Level 3 - 250 damage and 200 Mana lost. 80% of attack damage returned.
Level 4 - 400 damage and 350 Mana lost. 100% of attack damage returned.

There! Hope you like it!♥

How come you're so into recipes lately? Never saw this much interest in this topic in the old days of TH.net
  • Monovertex Monovertex:
Hmm, how do I change my signature?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am not big on the recipes I am just promoting them - I use the site as a practice place promoting stuff

@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.
  • The Helper The Helper:
You can get there if you click the bell icon (alerts) and choose preferences from the bottom, signature will be in the menu on the left there https://www.thehelper.net/account/preferences

I think I need to split the Sci/Tech news forum into 2 one for Science and one for Tech but I am hating all the moving of posts I would have to do

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
