Opinions need for Preview Art

Well i'm not sure whether i should post this here or the in the WE help zone, since i'm muddled my way through photoshop to make several map preview icons for a custom map.

As u can guess, it's to replace my drab "Magic the Gathering" on a blank white background in my avatar.

These are rough jpegs (as im' very new to photoshop), but just tell me what u think is the most eye-catching/appealing/attractive ..etc

if i were manipulative, i'd stick with anything with a red background
Get some attention.

Good thing the guys behind MTG commisioned some nice artist, or else i'd have butt-ugly icons for u to show
