Pausing without fully Pausing

i need to stop my unit from being able to perform movement or attack (on it's own) for the duration of the skill but i want still to be able to follow the orders from the trigger without interupption from the pausing or whatever i have to do.

is this possible? and how?
P.S - this skill is based on channel

Silence can ssilence normal attacks I think, and movement speed can be set to 0 or something really small, like 0.01 or something...

and you can set units time scale to 0, so it looks like stunned

doesn't silence stops from casting?
and i only need to disable it from the player commands and from acquition range

I once made a trigger, which issued a stop order to unit, every time that unit was ordered to do something. That trigger, ofc, freezed the whole game.

It is possible if you disable your trigger, issue stop order and enable it again.

no but i need to make orders in the middle of the spell i just wanna take it out of control like locust for example where i can give orders with no interupptions

Silence only Stops spell if you checked "Spells" in the Options Menu

does black arrow counts as spell or ranged?
cause if it's ranged then it's still the same

This gets tricky.., Maybe you should just save those orders and issue them again, when you unpause your unit?

well the spell is quite fast so i can count on it that the player won't have time to give orders anyway so i guess all i got to do is just setting acquisition range to 0

i guess i will just stick to no acquisition range...
