Problem with my spell

I want to make an ability based of Defend (footman ability), and it should reduce both ranged and melee attacks(melee reduction is the problem). How can i do that?

Actually, there is one, but it works only for range attacks...thats the problem, and i need it to work for melee attack also..:banghead:
Anny other sugestions ?

Defend reflects piercing attacks,(can reflect) spells and reduces damage taken
So if you set damage taken to 1% or 0%, I think it should work 4 melee and ranged units.

Tried already...works only for range(piercing)
