The other day i brought home a video i edited at school home on my flash drive. It was edited on a Mac using Final Cut Express and then exported as a Quicktime Movie, but when i brought it off the drive onto my PC (Windows XP), and opened it, it said additionial software was needed for playback. It gave me a list, but none of them look like what i need. When i tried to play it anyway, the audio works, but the video doesn't. Has anyone else had this problem, what do i need to play it? My Quicktime is updated to the latest version, and there's two other movies i did this with where it worked perfectly. My friend, who filmed this, may have edited some of it his Laptop, which has Final Cut Pro. Any help anyone could give would be great.

Have you tried VLC player?

It usually works with anything.
