random xp gain ?

at the start of my game i set the hero-xp gain for all players to 0.00%
all xp gain is triggerized. still my hero somehow randomly gets xp wtf? In the first round there are 6 units and 1 hero i kill and from that my hero somehow gets 4 additional xp ?! how can that happen ?
