so i have these tanks and when u tell them to attack a unit behind them (within firing range) they immediately fire without acutally aiming at the target first. then they aim at the target for the second shot, its not that important but it looks alittle silly when it happens.

can sum1 tell me how to make the unit wait untill its atleast pointed in the right general direction b4 firing?
 
triggers maybe.

I don't know whether this is right or not..

but you can give it a try.

Trigger:
  • Events - Unit - A unit Is issued an order targeting a point
    • Condition - (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to (Your Tanks)
    • Action - Unit - Make (Attacking unit) face (Position of (Attacked unit)) over 0.10 seconds
 
no, the tanks do turn towards the target, i just want them to wait to fire until they are actually facing them.

good idea tho if that was my problem XD
 
What is your tank unit based on? Generally units DO look before firing projectiles.
 
yeah ^^ I guessed your tanks must be custom tanks?

I think your created a custom units, and the model art must be from doodads?

They don't have any animations to work out with.
 
you need to change some object editor value, there got to be a field called: "Graphic - Facing Interpolation" or something like that (havent gotten english WE at the moment).
change it to 0 and everything should work out fine.

EDIT: yes it worked tyty +rep.... and the field is Art-Orientation Interpolation

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
