Shipwreck Dinner

This Shipwreck Dinner recipe elevates a box of macaroni and cheese into a comforting and hearty meal with meat, veggies and lots of cheese.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 box macaroni and cheese, unprepared
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup frozen green peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Large saucepan or skillet
Directions:
  • Heat a large saucepan or skillet over medium-high heat
  • Add the ground beef and sauté until it's completely browned
  • Make sure to break it apart as it cooks and then drain any excess fat
  • Stir in the powdered cheese mix and uncooked noodles from the Macaroni and Cheese box
  • Mix well to ensure the ground beef is evenly coated
  • Add the diced tomatoes (with their juice), milk, frozen corn, and frozen peas to the skillet
  • Season with salt to taste
  • Cover the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil
  • Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 12-15 minutes, or until the noodles are tender
  • Once the noodles are cooked through, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the skillet
  • Cover the skillet for a few minutes to let the cheese melt
  • Serve hot directly from the skillet
Note:
  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes

    Looks like Google fixed whatever mistake that made the recipes on the site go crazy and we are no longer trending towards a recipe site lol - I don't care though because it motivated me to spend alot of time on the site improving it and at least now the content people are looking at is not stupid and embarrassing like it was when I first got back into this like 5 years ago.

    Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.
