hm i dont know. look at the attached map and tell me what you like/dislike about the spell system i did. (keep in mind i did it in 5 minutes ^^)

Edit: i can make all the other systems too if you want. (pet system/equippment system/etc...)

It's okey but it has a few Flaws. any unit thats created after map initzialtion will not be run in the trigger. And when you change target it still runs the same unit again once. It's also completly different systems, what I made was a system that gave the user the ability to by each time he use it make the spell abit stronger. and in the other system the more he use a special element the stronger he gets in it but on the same time he gets weaker on the other elements, making people have to choose what element to train and is constantly changing everytime you use a spell.

Well i also want to make some systems ^^. The equipment system you can have, Currently I'm thinking of a way to let the user create new spells.

The system you just mentioned is very easy to make, just assign the dmg set as variables.

IF you do make their other spells weaker when casting, please make sure to put in a way to have 2 mastered elements or more, instead of just one.

I would certainly try it, but let me suggest two things:

First: The leveling up of abilities should be more exciting, I mean a level 1 fireball leveled to level 2 should not only increase damage, and decrease mana cost/cd, it's boring.
Instead, for example:
Level 1 fireball deals a decent fire damage.
Level 2 ignites the enemy
Level 3 explodes bigger on impact, igniting and damaging area
Level 4 explosion shakes the ground, slows/stuns enemies
etc

Second: Combo spells
A hidden but not random combo spell system, when you cast a spell, and in x seconds you cast that again or something else, a third, minor/major effect comes into play.
It would be exciting to explore the possibilities!

the spells in our game cannot be leveled.
If you use a spell a decent amount of times the spell will become stronger, but not much.

Spell combos. Hm maybe, its not a bad idea. We could also make combos for multiple players but that would be very hard to trigger. (still possible though)
maybe we will add combos.

OKey yea a fusion would be good and yea thought you didnt refined it. I would like the element system to be implented (Maybe not this one but some kind of element system) and renendaru, Yea right now it works so that it you can only have one truly mastered ability allthough that would deal imba damage if you were able to maste a skill but where I'm getting at is that if you have more Addition when using a skill then the subtraction of all the other skills each skill will grow stronger but you will loose some small piece when using another element.

Yea I Like Combo's, and between players is an interesting ability. I was thinking of making something like You have a place where you use 2-4 abilities after eachother and if they are compatible with eachother you will be granted a new skill that does all of those things together but will take X% more mana then all skills together because its harder to use.
