Hi there. This is a project that I started with some friends a long time ago, I figured out I'd post it here since I am no longer working on it. I tried and tried to put a loading screen on it, using many tools and help even from this forum, but I was unsuccessful.
Please download the map and take a look, I advice that you spawn as the red player, since it is always the "host" and controls the game.

Savage: The Last Sunrise is a team map that tells the story of two factions: The Dawn and the Dusk. The Dawn represents the animals and beasts from the dawn mountain, these creatures protect the sacred moutain.
The Dusk represents the human and elven alliance that wishes to steal the heart of the moutain, an artifact named "The Horn of Life", with this item, the humans would gain eternal life.
Savage always consists on these two teams battling for supremacy.
Each team has unique heroes and types of roles for each player to take.

The map always has a 20-second starting period at the beggining, in which the host (usually the red player) must enter a series of codes to configure everyone's experience. He or she must enter the difficulty command (which affects the experience rate, gold per minute and other factors), the objective command (which defines what each team will have to do to win the map), and the MVP command (which defines which boss monster will be waiting at the center of the map).
All these factors are set to default values if the host does not enter the commands before the 20 sec mark.

Objectives:
Here's a list of objectives that exist in the moment.
The Horn of Life (-horn) (Default Objective):
In this objective the dawn will win the map if nothing is made for 30 minutes. To prevent this, the dusk must invade the dawn's base and destroy the carapace that protects the horn of life (positioned in the dawn's base during this objective) to claim it.

The Horn of Life Hard (-hornhard):
Harder version of the default objective.
The dusk has less time to win, but the horn of life has less HP and can take critical hits.

Invasion! (-invasion):
During this objective, monsters will spawn inside the dawn and dusk bases after some time, the first team to reach a random number of kills between 40 and 70 wins. The mobs get progressively stronger over time.

Invasion! Hard (-invasionhard):
Harder version of the "Invasion!" objective. Less time between waves, stronger monsters and higher "to win" value.

Goldrush (-goldrush):
In this objective, players compete for gold harvesting.
All players earn gold every 5 seconds, but in this objective an unlimited gold mine will spawn at the south of the map and players will fight for control over it to be able to harvest gold and reach the random value between 30.000 and 40.000 to win the map.
This value consists on the gold amounts from every player in the team together.

Goldrush Hard (-goldrushhard):
Harder version of the "Goldrush" objective. Higher "to win" value and limited amount of gold in the gold mine.

Timber! (-timber)
In "Timber!", players compete for lumber harvesting. There are trees all across the map, and players with roles "builder" and "engineer" can chop trees and harvest wood from them. Wood is automatically distributed to all players over time, but at a much slower rate than gold.

Capture the Flag (-flag\-capturetheflag):
Inside each base a flag is positioned. Players must invade the enemy base to steal the flag and bring it to their base to score points. The first team to reach the "to win" value of points wins.

Deathmatch (-deathmatch):
Players compete for hero kills. Every 5 minutes of game, all heroes will be teleported to the center of the map to fight. The first team to achieve a random value between 30 and 40 of hero kills wins the map. MVPs (Bosses) are not allowed in this objective.

Hunt (-hunt):
Players compete for creep kills. The first team to reach a random value between 300 and 500 creep kills, wins the match.
After this time, other players aswell as the host must choose their heroes and roles. Roles define which buildings inside the Dawn of Dusk base players will be able to control, thus defining which abilities and advantages they will play against the oposing team. Each faction has unique roles.

marker.png
Dawn roles:
Builder (-builder):
The builder controls the scarab builders and can build towers to defend the base, aswel as upgrade buildings and item stores. The scarab builders can also repair buildings and mechanical units, such as the hero Gizmo.
Builders can also place healing foutains anywhere to heal their allies, but these foutains will also heal enemies and creeps around them.
The builder can also harvest gold and timber during the "Goldrush" and "Timer!" objectives.

Soldier (-soldier):
The soldier is able to train up to 8 different monsters to defend the dawn base or even attack the dusk base. This role also provides upgrades for the player's monsters.

Druid (-druid):
The druid controls the Druid Workshop and is able to buy potions, scrolls and other types of items to use on himself or to give to his allies.
Druids can also train Awoken Spirits, these units can cast a large variety of spells and can build fountais that replenish mana around them.

Creeper (-creeper):
The creeper always has +100% experience rate, thus allowing him or her to level up much faster than other players.

marker.png
Dusk roles:
(The Dusk is not yet fully made)
Alchemist (-alchemist):
The Alchemist controls the Alchemist Lab and is able to create special soldiers for the dusk army. The alchemist will always have a chance to find runes when he or she kills a creep, combining runes will grant he or she summoning items that can summon very powerful units. The alchemist can later create a hummuncullus for him, a half-hero unit that can level up and learn abilities. There are 3 types of hummuncullus.

Engineer (-engineer):
The Engineer is the dusk's "builder", he or she can train two types of builders that grant access to different tech-trees. The engineer has access to many buildings such as towers to defend your base, item stores, regeneration fountains and much more.
The items sold by the engineer's shops are much more powerful than the items from the dawn's builder.
The engineer also produces the main siege units to attack the dawn's base.

General (-general):
The general controls the main dusk forces, he or she can train a few types of basic soldiers that can evolve into other soldiers. The general can also choose between two unique tech-trees to specialize themselves in.

(The final dusk role will be added soon.)

Difficulty Commands:
-veryeasy, -easy, -normal, -hard, -veryhard.

marker.png
Marketplace:
At the north of the sacred dawn mountain there's a special item shop called marketplace. This shop sells the most powerful items and artifacts in the game, there are 26 different items that can appear in the shop, but only 12 appear at a time. Once an item from the marketplace is bought, it dissapears and cannot be bought by any other player in that match. You can be warned when the marketplace will reroll its items by typing -marketplace.

Luck System:
Items that increase Luck increase the following:
-Chance of "Snap Dragons" skill to succeed.
-Chance of dropping power ups.
-Chance of dropping runes and talisman pieces for alchemists.
-Chance of "Azure Combo" skill to succeed.

Other Commands:
-role (shows available roles in your faction (not yet taken))
-command (shows a list of useful commands)
-blood (show blood animations on attacks)
-camera # (replace # with 1, 2 or 3 for different camera angles)

Hmm, how do I change my signature?
  • tom_mai78101 tom_mai78101:
Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

I am not big on the recipes I am just promoting them - I use the site as a practice place promoting stuff

@tom_mai78101 I must be blind. If I go on my profile I don't see any area to edit the signature; If I go to account details (settings) I don't see any signature area either.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though

Heard Houston got hit pretty bad by storms last night. Hope all is well with TH.
