Trigger:
  • Event
    • Player - Player 1 (Red) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring
    • Player - Player 2 (Blue) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring


How do I make a short cut on this so I only need one event like this I wondering because I are noob on array in variables:

Trigger:
  • Player - Players types a chat message containing -setname as A substring


I have started to make made the Array number system like
Trigger:
  • Set Players[1]: Player 1 (Red)
. But its wrong Variable what are the variable for this event?

EDIT: I would look if some of this help already exist but I clicked on enter then I should click on backstage for chance the spell on the headline...

You can't do that in GUI... You'll have to create an event for each player.

Yeah, but it's not that hard to use type in several events to a trigger either...

I'd believe thathe simply doesn't want 12 events on that one trigger, and wants a simpler way of adding them...

    • Events
      • Map Initialization
    • Actions
    • For each integer A from 1 to 12
      • Add - Player[A] types -setname event to your trigger.

I can't find this:
Trigger:
  • Add - Player[A] types -setname event to your trigger.


Today I don't feel like I are an average on trigger :p

It's supposed to look like this, his was freehanded:
Trigger:
  • Add Events
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • For each (Integer A) from 1 to 12, do (Actions)
        • Loop - Actions
          • Trigger - Add to (Your_Trigger) the event (Player - (Player((Integer A))) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring)


To get that "Player(Integer A)" there's a line called "Conversion - Convert Player Index To Player", there you click the blue 1, and select "For Loop Integer A" :D

  • Shortcut events

          • Game - Display to (All players) the text: Leak?
          • Trigger - Add to setname <gen> the event (Player - (Player((Integer A))) types a chat message containing -setname as A substring)
          • Trigger - Add to Clear <gen> the event (Player - (Player((Integer A))) types a chat message containing -clear as An exact match)


Then I maked this "Leak?" was showing up only 12 times so are it leaking?

depends on what he wants at least

this will make every player name the same name so if lbue typs in -setname im funny or excample all players get the name im funny
you have to take this if you want that only the player that typs it gets the name

        Player - Set name of (Triggering player) to (Substring((Entered chat string), 10, 30))
