waits make most things non MUI but not everything ...

and triggering unit IS MUI

test it yourself
Code:
Events - Units casts spell y
Actions - Wait 10. seconds and then display unit name of triggering unit

will always work properly no matter how often u cast it ....

I don't think waits should be considered MUI or non-MUI or whatever.
They don't involve variables or anything, it's just something that requires consideration in combination of variables.

If you make a VERY simple trigger, where you do nothing but:
Set speed of triggering unit to 100
Wait 5 sec
Set speed of triggering unit to 200



Then it seems like it IS MUI, due to the fact that triggering unit, apparrently unlike others are local.

If you make a VERY simple trigger, where you do nothing but:
Set speed of triggering unit to 100
Wait 5 sec
Set speed of triggering unit to 200



Then it seems like it IS MUI, due to the fact that triggering unit, apparrently unlike others are local.

:)

If you want to add a special effect to the unit too, you can create a dummy unit that casts a spell that places a buff with some attachmentartstuff.

Tottaly.

But keep in mind: If you're using trigger actions that add, remove, multiply and divide movement speed, it may fuck the movement speed up.

ohh now doesn't the spell work.. when i have less than 15% :(
Is it still Mui if i make Unit variable?

BECAUSE THE UNIT MUST HAVE 15% LIFE TO CAST IT, SO I MUST TRIGGER TO THAT!

CAUSE ITS FUN.

Sounds like the same a guy said in the beginning in the thread, that was entirely ignored.

And just use frenzy to increase your own movement speed, since that uses no point.
And bloodlust to increase that of others, since that uses a unit target.


And Sidove: It's still MUI, as long as you don't perform actions like adding a special effect to a unit and AFTER the wait removing it.
And don't touch (Triggering Unit)! D:
Triggering Unit is a local variable, that means it is ALWAYS MUI.
The Variables you make in the GUI variable editor are NEVER MUI.





EDIT: Oh my god. Why didn't you say so at the damn start; it would've been so much damn easier?
Event - Unit starts casting an ability
Condition - Unit less than 15% hp AND ability being cast = yourability
Action - Order an issue with no target - STOP.

Causes the unit to STOP instead of casting when the unit has less than 15% hp and tries to cast the spell.

Just to clear things up. Trigger Variable isn't a variable. This it can't be local.
It's a function. Though the unit it returns will remain the same for each trigger it's called in. Regardless of waits.

okey did a bersek ability that adds what i want and did a trigger that looks like this

Succes cast
    Events
        Unit - A unit Starts the effect of an ability
    Conditions
        (Ability being cast) Equal to Adrelanin 
        (Percentage life of (Triggering unit)) Greater than 90.00
    Actions
        Game - Display to (All players) the text: You suck
        Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to Stop
But it doesn't stop the caster from getting more speed help please

And nerfpl, it would've been nice if he would've told us about the hp thingy earlier instead of saying he wanted it through triggers.

umm there is no thingie called stats casting an ability only begins casting an ability :confused:

Sorry, that's the one I mean.

Instead of triggering when you launch the effect, which is after a moment, it launches as soon as you start casting.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
