Spawning

Ok well, I'm making a TD and there is a little problem with my spawns. I can't seem to figure out waht's wrong with it. The first wave spawns perfectly but the second one doesn't. I don't know why, so here are the triggers:

Triggers aren't finished yet, as you can see. So it's basically copy + paste from Wave 1 and Wave Start 1 untill I edit them. Any help is appreciated.

Wave 2 doesnt have a event
try putting in on wave 1 Trigger- add event to wave 2
or you could put timer expires event
Hey there is a easier way to making the waves on a td
make a integer array call it Nspawn
and make a unit type array call it Spawn
then make a string array call it Waves
then make this trigger

Elasped game time is 0.01
Condition
Action
---Level 1----
Set Nspawn[1]= Footman
Set Waves[1]= String: 20 footmen in each corner!
---Level 2----
Set Nspawn[2]= Archer
Set Waves[2]= String: 20 archers in each corner!

And so on...

I didn't think that Non-Initially Enabled triggers needed events. To be honest though, I like my Idea it's more straight forward becuase everything has its own trigger. Thanks anyway.

try to RUN your wave 2 start instead of TURNING IT ON

I see you based yourself on green TD!!

THis is a good way to start but is ''EXTREMLY'' long to do!

Only 55 waves. :p But I think this is straight forward enough for me. Might change it in later versions. Btw, this is the terrain so far. I'll probably end up changing it. I already think that the spawns at the top are too clumped together.

that really is based on green td lol :p

One hint: try putting green and pink spawn that joint in the center of vertial lenes, where orange is spawning and change the bottom of orange. see that:

Hahaha well, almost all tDs are based on another one. Green TD and Mafa are my favorites :D

These are good choices but unfortunatly, the worse TD evers, they are what we could call ''trigger scrap''. Luckyly, towers are fun to upgrade/build and cash is the numba one thing in the map.

Also, did u understand my beutifull drawn plan?

Here is what i was talking about.

Of course, iut is smaller and disgusting (didn't do it perfectly since it only a demo). Keep the original size of your mad and implement the things in mine, you are going to win my friend :D

Yeah but you could maybe make res spawn the same size as the other and mave the path unver orange a V but that is only if you understand what i mean lol!

But overall, good job!

Thanks. Now I just gotta get the spawns to work :S Check my other thread out, see if you can help. I've managed to stump alot of other people lol.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
