Spells real cooldown?

Well I've noticed with some spell, when i try to make the cooldown of a spell to 0.2 or somthing under one second. That some spells have an extra cooldown timer, right after the spell is cast. like when I press a spell, it activates, to the tirgger, then when toe cool down is finished, id have to waite a few more seconds before i can use it again.

But, if i were to move right after the spell is being cast its back to normal. Is this part of the chenneling of the defult ability i used?

is there a way to change this?

--example:
windwalk has no xtra cooldown, but when i used 'stomp' it has a slight after cooldown.

EDIT: another question. is it possiable, to make a spell have no cast time? like you can walk and windwalk without having to stop.

I don't understand what you're talking about, but perhaps it has something to do with Animation Backswing.

No. Only Berserk and Wind Walk do this.
EDIT: And spells that are casted using Items.

Divine Shield, I think.

But mana shield and Immolation are on/off spells right?

but in that case, can you trigger it to quickly change back? so it will seem like it doesnt change at all.?

Orders are not enough fast.


"No cast time" -> remove orderstring of the ability and it will ignore Animation - Cast Point (and the blabla that is followed by it) like items.

Replacing the unit, ordering it to stop, and many other ways remove this extra cooldown also.

I personally just change ownership to someone else then back to the owner.
