Well, i wanted to make a tirgger, so when u step on a circle of power, and cast ur spell "action" u get teleported to another circle of power, vice versa.

here r my 2 triggers.

School main 2 Gate
Events
Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability
Conditions
(Ability being cast) Equal to Action
Actions
If (All Conditions are True) then do (Then Actions) else do (Else Actions)
If - Conditions
(school main 2 gate <gen> contains (Triggering unit)) Equal to True
Then - Actions
Unit - Move (Triggering unit) instantly to (Center of gate 2 school main <gen>)
Camera - Pan camera for (Owner of (Triggering unit)) to (Center of gate 2 school main <gen>) over 0.00 seconds
Else - Actions
Do nothing

wellt the problem is, that only 1 of them works poroperly. eveyrtime i remake one, the first one i make glitches up, and just moves my unit to where its standing basicly.

like going from point A -> B i can but when i try to go from point B->A it just teleports me to point B...

plz help. is there a better triggering for this?

put your if/then/else conditions into the normal conditions and remove "do Nothing" (it does nothing:)

yeahh, ive tried this, putting the

(gate 2 school main <gen> contains (Triggering unit)) Equal to True

into the normal conditioning, it does the same thing, :S its really confusing me out. cuz to me, that trigger should work, and it shouldnt tele me from point B -> B . seeing as there both identical, with swapped around regions.

and only one works.. if i get rid of 1 trigger, the other trigger works fine, but if i put the other trigger back in, it doesnt work at all.. wth...

The units stands on B, casts Action, trigger 2 is run and because the unit is on B, it is moved to the center of A.

A micro-moment later, trigger 1 is run and since you moved the casting unit to the center of A in the trigger 2, trigger 1 moves the unit back to the center of B. So the unit moves from B to the center of A, then immediately back to the center of B. Oops :eek:

Merge your triggers into one:

Code:
If (Unit is in A)
  Move unit to B
Else
  If (Unit is in B)
    Move unit to A
  Else
    Nothing

herms, i get that, but, i u should see the unit quickly move from one to the other, but in this case, it doesnt.. and that would explain it, if they both didnt work, but in my case.. one always works, and one doesnt, =[.

and i plan to have serveral more hundred of these triggers. so i cant put them all into one trigger, that would b very trouble some.

aww im starting to think this is hopeless

First of all, use 'Starts the effect of an ability'

Second, use
Code:
 tags not [quote] tags.

Then, use better names. Your regions have similar names. This could develop into a habit and cause more problems.

Lastly, like Chjoodge said, it's better to merge the two triggers into one.

That's because the screen is not redrawn between those two triggers. One trigger runs, the other trigger runs, then you get to see the unit's new position.

Yes. That's because Warcraft runs your trigger 1 always before your trigger 2, so if you want in the direction of trigger 2, then first the trigger 1 does nothing and then the trigger 2 moves the unit correctly.

If you want to go in the direction of trigger 1, then first the trigger 1 moves the unit once, but then the trigger 2 moves it right back.

Nevermind :) Good you've got it working.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
