The "Human Tower" model as a Doodad

Just a quick question to anyone who might have some experience with this -

I'm currently using the "Human Tower" model for a Doodad Scout Tower I created. However, the model, which is the same for Arcane, Cannon, Guard, and Scout towers, seems to toggle between Cannon and Scout both in the Editor and in Warcraft. From what I can see, though, there are no specific animation fields for Doodads, and I was wondering if there were a way to get around that or if there were another model path.

There was actually only one variation being used, but thanks for the suggestion. It helped me narrow in on what else could be causing the change, and it turns out that the upgrade models are stored as animations. Anyway, I got around it by triggering the correct animation upon Map Initialization. Problem solved. :)

how did you trigger the correct animation? as far as I can see scout tower has no upgrade animations...

also, in the future is it better for me to start a new threat or bump old threads like this?
