UFC and Bud Light are back in business together.

On Tuesday, UFC officials announced a lucrative new multi-year deal with Anheuser-Busch to once again make Bud Light the official beer for the MMA promotion. The previous relationship between the two entities ended in 2019, after which Modelo served as the primary beer sponsor for the UFC for the past four years; however the promotion has now struck a new deal with Bud Light reportedly worth more than $100 million.

“Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light were UFC’s original beer sponsors more than 15 years ago,” UFC CEO Dana White said in a press release. “I’m proud to announce we are back in business together. There are many reasons why I chose to go with Anheuser-Busch and Bud Light, most importantly because I feel we are very aligned when it comes to our core values and what the UFC brand stands for. I’m looking forward to all of the incredible things we will do in the years ahead.”

As the UFC began exploding in popularity, Bud Light was one of the first marquee brands to back the promotion with a multi-year deal that first started back in 2008. The two companies continued to renew the partnership until the UFC switched beer sponsors to begin working with Modelo.

UFC faces boycott calls after announcing tie-up with Bud Light reportedly worth $100M

UFC is facing calls for a boycott after the mixed martial arts league announced on Tuesday that it inked a major sponsorship deal with Bud Light.

The tie-up with Anheuser-Busch’s beleaguered brew — which has been slammed with sharp sales declines since its fleeting, ill-fated campaign in April with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney — is reportedly worth more than $100 million, according to MMA Fighting.

“UFC BOYCOTT IS ON,” one user shared to X following the announcement, which will see Bud Light’s logo on fighting rinks and in marketing materials as of January.

“Time to double down on the #BoycottBudLight and now #BoycottUFC,” another posted, while yet another chimed in: “Dumb move.”

Dana White Responds To Backlash Over Bud Light-UFC Deal: "Nobody Tells Me What To Say"

It's no secret that fight fans on the conservative side of politics have taken a liking to the UFC, but their feathers were ruffled recently when the promotion announced it would be partnering with Bud Light once again.

While a situation like this would typically mean nothing more for fans other than a nostalgia trip, political views continue to make their way to sports and just about anything else enjoyable.

Those on an anti-woke crusade criticized the UFC for relinking with Bud Light, as those people are still upset with Anheuser-Busch for the company's "wokeness." The self-proclaimed boycotters truly became enraged when transgender TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney partnered with Bud Light for an ad campaign.

"Everybody talks about, 'Oh, you did it for money,' hey, dummies, all sponsorship deals are about money," White said. "So, when you talk about being a sellout, I had multiple deals in front of me. It's not like, 'Oh, Bud Light showed up and they were the only option I had to make money. You know how f****** stupid that is to think that?"
